Let’s say you’re driving down the highway and see an elementary age child driving a car while the father is in the passenger seat asleep, what would you do?

Well a concerned motorist decided to call the police early Saturday morning and explain that a boy was ‘driving erratically’. 

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, a father who was attempting to get from Mississippi to Dallas with a little too many beers in his system decided to ask his 8-year-old son to be his designated driver.  Somehow, this became a good idea to the inebriated motorist while his 4-year-old daughter was in the back seat of the Chevy truck as well.  And yes, the ignoramus was arrested!

What in the wild world of parenting is really going on?  I mean was there not a hotel available or a well-lit rest area that the man could have pulled into to catch a nap before he continued on to his destination.  There’s not a lot that gives me a huge shock factor these days, but I must say this story made me curse! 

One thing I can say about this entire ordeal, it definitely proves that God still takes care of fools and babies!  Lord, Bless this Mess!!!!!
